- This week over 300 baskets and planters have been put up across Hebden Bridge and Mytholmroyd, the plants are still young but give it a couple of weeks, a drop of sunshine and a sprinkling of rain and by Summer the baskets will be overflowing with colour and making our streets look ‘blooming’ great! DATES FOR SPRING CLEAN UP - Residents asked to put the dates in their diaries and think about how they could get involved - clean up their street, garden and yards or a community group could raise sponsorship for cleaning up a certain area or for each bag of litter retrieved. Read more - 21 January
HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL DAY - An evening to reflect on past genocides and look at present day hate crime is taking place at the Victoria Theatre on 27 January. The Council marks Holocaust Memorial Day each year by inviting victims of hate crime to speak about their experiences. Read more - 19 January
