Meet 'Dr Bike' and get your Bicycle checked for Free at Hebden Bridge Station!

Cyclists can bring their bikes along for a free safety check, provided by professional mechanics, at Hebden Bridge station on Thursday 14 July.
The Big Bike Fix will help those who want to go cycling but have a bike that needs a bit of work, those looking for maintenance advice, people who want to get hold of an inexpensive, recycled bike or are looking for information on cycling routes in and around Hebden Bridge.
With ten recently installed, covered cycle stands with space for twenty bikes and eight secure lockers at the station, plus CCTV to protect the bikes, Northern Rail is encouraging its customers to take the environmentally friendly and cost effective option of travelling to the station.
The Big Bike Fix will be at the station from 7am until 7pm and anyone wanting to take part is encouraged to pre-book an appointment to avoid disappointment. Local mechanics from Blazing Saddles and Cycle:Recycle will be on hand to help, and bikes should be dropped off in the morning, then collected that afternoon.
The first ten people to book their bike in and get it checked will receive a complimentary Northern Rail day travel pass, to be used within 12 months. To pre-book your wheels in with 'Dr Bike', email info@blazingsaddles.co.uk quoting 'Northern Rail Bike Fix'.
