Calder Ward

Stephen Curry, Independent

Gail Lund, Conservative

Alan McDonald, Green Party

Hywel Morgan, Liberal Democrat

Dave Young, Labour

 

The Calder ward is the ward that approximately covers the Hebden Bridge area. Dave Young is well known in Hebden Bridge as a hard working, effective member of the Hebden Royd Town Council. Alan McDonald is equally well known for his activities with the local Green Party and Transition Town group. Stephen Curry has been the proprietor of Angeldale Guesthouse for several years.

 

Luddenden Ward

This covers Mytholmroyd, Midgley and surrounding areas. There are just three candidates this year: John Frederiksen (Liberal Democrats), Richard Marshall (Conservative) and Simon Young (Labour)
