Colour, music, dancing and smiles: The sun shone and the crowds gathered as the Handmade Parade’s 'Once upon a Time' tales wound through the streets of Hebden Bridge yesterday for the 12th annual Handmade Parade. Free public toilets This year Calderdale Council will mark Yorkshire Day by making all of its public toilets free of charge, initially for a trial period. So from Thursday 1 August, there’ll be no cost if you need to spend a penny. More info
