Response to Storm Christoph - Slow The Flow Yet another major storm which, due to effects of our changing climate, are becoming more intense and significantly more frequent. Storm Christoph hit the Calder Valley from 19-21 January. Once again, our area faced serious risk of further flooding, from heavy rain falling on already saturated ground, along with melting snow.
