New Biodiversity Coordinator As Nations agree to protect a third of the planet for nature by 2030 in a deal aimed at safeguarding biodiversity, the Town Council have announced that Rachel Lightbird is their new Climate Emergency and Biodiversity Coordinator. Read more

Cllr Sarah Courtney has been re-elected Councillor for the Calder Ward (covering Hebden Bridge) with over 3000 votes - more than any other candidate in Calderdale. Cllr Scott Patient has been re-elected Labour Councillor for the Luddendenfoot Ward, (including Mytholmroyd). Cllr Helen Brundell has been elected for Labour in Todmorden.
