Colour, music, dancing and smiles: The sun shone and the crowds gathered as the Handmade Parade’s 'Once upon a Time' tales wound through the streets of Hebden Bridge yesterday for the 12th annual Handmade Parade. More tree cover still needed in Hebden Bridge, say Friends of the Earth. The organisation claims trees can act as effective flood defences, helping to reduce peak water levels by as much as a quarter. See ITV report.
