Spring Snow in cool Hebden Bridge: Photos On Friday 22nd March and Saturday 23rd March, snow fell constantly and heavily. Most roads on the tops were blocked by drifts caused by a strong easterly wind. Bus and train services were disrupted. Here are a few photos.

Anti War Demo 2003

Calder High Student Walkout - ten years ago. As Britain was about to invade Iraq, Calder High students led local protests. Headteacher David Scott was forced to close the school on the day of the invasion and subsequently suspended 13 students. Calder High students demonstrated all day in Hebden Bridge.
