Steve Tilston plays folk flood fundraiser
Wednesday, 27 January 2016
Folk legend and Hebden Bridge resident Steve Tilston is the latest local act to put together a fundraising gig at the Trades Club.
Steve volunteered in the aftermath of the Boxing Day flood helping people clean up, but has now use his contacts in the folk world to put together a high quality bill to raise money on Wednesday 3 February.
Steve has just completed a sell out mini tour and hit the headlines last year when a letter of support John Lennon sent to him - but never arrived - was the inspiration for hit movie Danny Collins starring Al Pacino.
As well as Steve playing songs from his latest album Truth To Tell he will joined by highly regarded French chanteuse Flossie Malavialle and singer/ comedian Keith Donnelly of whom Jasper Carrot once said 'Keith could make sheep laugh'
