Organic House gets the Hebden Bridge Town Hall catering franchise

Town HallLocal business gets the Hebden Bridge Town Hall catering franchise.

Hebden Bridge Community Association, the charitable trust which runs Hebden Bridge Town Hall, is delighted to announce that the local catering business and café Organic House has been awarded the Town Hall's catering franchise.

Organic House will operate the courtyard café inside the new Town Hall development, which is now open to the public. Organic House will also take responsibility for catering for functions, dinners and receptions at the Town Hall and for running bars for events being held in the building which require a bar licence.

Organic House have won the catering franchise following a competitive tendering process. Hebden Bridge Community Association advertised the tender both locally and in the national catering press.

Sarah Lister-Blow, director of Hebden Bridge Community Association, said: "We are delighted to be able to go into partnership with a successful local business. We share with Organic House a determination to make the new Town Hall development a vibrant and well-utilised space, which is open for all. We are sure that the café and catering provision will add to the success of the Town Hall".

Jackie Wilburn, general manager of Organic House's new café, said: "The new Town Hall development offers some wonderful new facilities to the town, and we're very excited about being able to play our part in making it very successful. We're offering locally sourced and organic food and drink and have what we think is a varied and interesting menu."

The courtyard café first opened to the public last Sunday (July 29) and is now open for both breakfasts and lunches. Entry is through the Town Hall's new entrance foyer, opposite the market square.
