Vacancy for Town Clerk

Hebden Royd Town Council are inviting candidates to apply for the full-time position of Town Clerk to the Council & Responsible Financial Officer.
POST GRADE: NJC Scale LC3 (SCP 43-47) [£51,515 - £56,648] (dependent on experience) + Pension Scheme.
HOURS: FT 37 hours per week
The Council is looking for someone with management experience, preferably in Local Government and strong financial management. The candidate should be able to demonstrate a keen interest in the needs of the Hebden Royd community and what the Council can do for it. The candidate must be a CiLCA (with Section 7) Qualified Clerk.
Working 37 hours a week either at the Town Hall and/or the Hebden Bridge Picture House, the successful applicant must also be willing to work in a flexible and supportive manner with the Council as its Proper Officer and chief adviser. This will include attending evening meetings and some civic events across the year, sometimes on weekends.
