Soup Dragon, Hebden Bridge

Volunteers at Soup Dragon provide a valuable service preparing and serving a selection of wholesome soups, bread and often a tasty crumble for afters.
The soup is served at the Hebden Bridge Methodist Church hall near the Hebden Bridge Co-op and provides a warm space through the winter months, as well as lunchtime Soup and refreshments between 12 noon and 2 pm on Fridays.
The soup is freshly prepared using generous donations from the Valley Organics with bread courtesy of Saker and Blue Sky Bakery.
It is open to all and will give you a warm welcome with contributions towards the costs welcome if you are able.
Volunteers needed
To continue to provide this community service they desperately need volunteers who can commit to a couple of hours once or twice a month - cooking, serving, loading the dishwasher or tidying up - lots of scope there.
Do visit on a Friday, sample our wares and see if you can lend a hand to ensure Soup Dragon's survival!
