Bird Calendar raises money for food support

Roger O'Doherty raised £3200 through the sale of his fourth annual wildlife calendar. This money is donated to Calder Food Support, a local charity helping people struggling to make ends meet.
Roger has told the HebWeb, "I love photographing local wildlife and doing it to raise money for charity gives me the motivation I need to get out on damp days. Print costs are rising and people have less money but are still very generous."

Many in our community just can't make ends meet and depend on the support of neighbours and local charities.
