Doors 6.45 Show 7.45
It's not often a musician can walk to a gig, but Steve Tilston can do just that on Saturday 11th November when he plays at Wadsworth Community Centre.
Steve has been described as "a complete guitarist," "a singer songwriter of rare talent" and "absurdly accomplished." He's toured with John Renbourn, Maggie Boyle, WAZ, Ballet Rambert and daughter Martha.
The writer of the classics 'The Slipjigs and Reels,' 'The Naked Highwayman' and 'Here's to Tom Paine' - songs which have been covered by a who's who of the folk world. After 50 years in the business, Steve is on as fine form as ever.
Singer songwriter Pete Dilley will open the evening. Pete, also a Calderdale resident, plays Guitar, Dobro, Banjo and Bouzouki, releasing an excellent double album 'Half Truths and Hearsay' a couple of years ago which displayed the variety and depth of his songwriting.
Steve is joined by his bass playing stalwart Hugh Bradley for this gig, additionally Pete Dilley will add his contribution to some of Steve's songs.
