Land Trust seeks Trustees

Calder Valley Community Land Trust is looking to strengthen their Board, by bringing in up to two new members. They are particularly looking for:
- Someone who has a good understanding of corporate/co-operative governance in the voluntary sector and who would consider taking on the important post of Society Secretary working with our full time Executive Manager
- Someone who has professional experience in journalism, PR or marketing.
However please feel free to put in an application if you have other skills and experience.
They are looking also to increase the diversity of our Board and there will be an induction process to help new Board members get up to speed. Board meetings are normally attended in person at Hebden Bridge Town Hall which is well adapted for disabled users. When needed (e.g. during Covid restrictions) or when it is more convenient, the Board meets via the internet. They already use MS Teams, Outlook etc. for remote collaborative working. They will pay reasonable childcare costs and other reasonable expenses you incur as a Board member.
