Hebden Bridge Flood Alleviation Scheme

The Environment Agency is working with Calderdale Council to design and build a Flood Alleviation Scheme for Hebden Bridge.
Ground Investigation Work
As part of ongoing preparation for the flood alleviation scheme in Hebden Bridge, BAM Nuttall are carrying out ground investigation and drainage surveys at a number of locations around the town over the coming months.
By undertaking this work ahead of the main scheme, they will be able to reduce the risk of unknowns and the amount of time spent in these areas during the main construction phase.
Some of the work may require restricted vehicular access and footpath diversions. They will endeavour to keep disruption from all our work to a minimum and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
