Hebden Bridge Little Theatre is back!
After a year and a half away, the theatre is delighted to announce its programme for Autumn/Winter 2021.
The first production is a one-act surreal comedy, The Extraordinary Revelations of Orca the Goldfish by David Tristram, directed by Jenny Gore, from Monday to Thursday, 20-23 September 2021.
As a thank-you to the theatre's loyal supporters, there will be free admission to all performances.
For Henry Smith - actor, comedian, raconteur, sporting hero, leading socialite, business tycoon, secret agent, Casanova and acting President of the United States - life is rarely dull.
For Alice Smith - housewife - life is rarely anything else.
Enter Michel - French waiter - tall, dark and available.
Exactly what happens next, no-one's quite sure. Except that it involves a rotting melon, a deckchair and a bottle of neck rub.
And only their pet goldfish, Orca, and you, will ever know the true story.

In December our regular programme returns, starting with When We Are Married, by J.B. Priestley, which was originally part of our abandoned 2020 Season.
Priestley's most popular play is a wonderful comedy, full of larger than life characters, depicting the snobbery and pomposity of the North Country nouveau riche, and how this is punctured by a startling and unsettling revelation.
The play will be directed by Ray Riches, and runs from Monday to Saturday, 6-11 December 2021.
Book tickets online (www.hblt.co.uk), or buy them at Innovation, Hebden Bridge, two weeks before opening.
