Following the success of their digital mini-festival in July, Happy Valley Pride has announced new series of online events.
All the events are free and will be broadcast on Facebook and/or Zoom with more details on the (Happy Valley Pride website) and Facebook page
Bourgeois & Maurice, exclusive live show
Sunday 1 November at 7pm.
Critically acclaimed musical satirists Bourgeois & Maurice make a triumphant return to Happy Valley Pride, beaming on to your devices live via the digital realm! Riotous original songs meet hyper surreal, high fashion. This exclusive show promises to be a provocative, thought-provoking and hysterical catwalk through the quagmire of current affairs.

Mind Your Head – LGBTQ+ Mental Health Panel
Wednesday 2 December at 7pm.
Join Happy Valley Pride for this special panel session looking at mental health from an LGBTQ+ perspective. As we approach the festive period, find more about how to improve your resiliency, how to stay connected and engaged and how mental health connects with fitness, nutrition and general wellbeing. Hear from a range of experts and champions. Share your experiences and stories. Stay connected and be part of the conversation.
Kinky Boots the Musical

Happy Valley Pride and Hebden Bridge Picture House present a screening of the hit, West End Musical Kinky Boots at this December. A huge worldwide hit with music by Cyndi Lauper and a book by legendary LGBTQ+ playwright Harvey Fierstein this unmissable show takes you on a journey from the factory floor of Northampton to the glamourous catwalks of Milan.
Kirsty’s Poptastic Christmas Singalong Party
Saturday 19 December at 8pm
Streaming live from The Trade Club
Our online Singalong events have been a big hit this year. For this special Kirsty Newton will lead us in a big festive singalong of classic Christmas songs live from the stage of Hebden’s iconic Trades Club. From Wham to Slade to Mariah, all your favourites will be performed - glam up, grab some egg-nog and join in!
The singalong will be followed by a DJ set by our very own DJ Red Helen, who will play the best disco and yuletide hits, she will be joined by some very special surprise guests!
The show will be performed without a live audience.
HORSE – Live performance
Sunday 24 January at 7pm
HORSE is an iconic and utterly unique singer/songwriter, her voice described as 'a finely honed instrument', together with 'breathtaking stagecraft'. Her music is both moving and uplifting, the audience are totally absorbed whenever she performs.

The live performance will be followed by a Q&A.

With an exclusive set from Bourgeois & Maurice, a look at mental health issues during the pandemic, Kinky Boots the Musical, a Christmas singalong extravaganza and a performance from the fantastic HORSE, we hope there really is something for everyone. In these difficult times, and as we approach the winter months, we hope to put a smile of everyone’s face and provide an opportunity to bring the community together, in a safe and secure way.
