Welcome to a wonderful Lunchtime Live celebration of ‘International Women Everywhere’

On Saturday, 9 March we have amazing performances from Ruth Nielson, Kate Radford, Ruby O’Hare and Gloria Jeffries sharing their talents on the stage for us to enjoy. Doors open at 1pm the event is on till 4pm. Pay as you can afford. Everyone is Welcome.

We have an array of talent here.

Ruth NeilsonRuth Nielson lives in Oxenhope and performs regularly as a solo piano vocalist around her community. She has played in various groups and duos over the years after completing her degree in Jazz Studies in 2008 at Leeds College of Music. Last year she began to write her own music again, which was greatly received. Whether it's cover songs or original, she always puts her own stamp on it.

Kate RadfordKate Radford will be sharing a selection of integrated poetry and music, using her exploratory performance techniques with her loop pedal.

Sharing entirely original pieces, that merge song into soundscape, she will be performing an excerpt from her touring piece ‘Drought'.

Gloria JeffriesIntroducing Gloria Jeffries who is a singer, guitarist and a flute player.

Gloria has released 18 albums over the years, solo and with bands, and has released an album recently called ‘Living For Me'.

Ruby O’Hare

Ruby O’Hare is an 18 year old singer-songwriter from Hebden Bridge with a unique style, her mellow songs combining jazz, soul and R&B. Accompanying herself on acoustic guitar, she has a wide range of influences including Amy Winehouse, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison and Lauryn Hill.

Come along and celebrate with us at Hope Baptist Chapel on Saturday Afternoon. Pay as you can afford. Event for all the community.
