Vintage Car Weekend

This fabulous summer continued for our show last weekend and that certainly brought in the crowds.
We had record numbers of entrants for both Saturday and Sunday.
Big thanks must go to our sponsors, the stall holders and food outlets, all the companies and individuals who have given us support in the run up to the show and Calderdale council who are always so understanding and helpful.
Saturday's best in show
The Hebden Bridge Rotarians did a fantastic job, with the help of their partners and friends, not only for the work done in setting up, organising and clearing the park, but also for the 10 months of work and planning that goes into putting an event which is has become a feature of the Hebden Bridge summer.
My fellow Rotarians have asked me to pass on our sincere thanks to the show entrants and to the great British public for once again supporting our event.
Sunday's best in show
Monies raised over the weekend all go to local, national and international charities and good causes. The club is honoured to serve the local community with around 75% of our donations going locally, to local charities, local organisations and schools. We certainly hope that compensates for the loss of your local park for the weekend.
