Animal Contemporary Exhibition
Sunday, 7 January 2018
‘Animal Contemporary’ is a contemporary art exhibition in Hebden Bridge, curated by art organisation ARTbound, which focusses on how artists portray animals in our modern world, from visually pleasing abstractions to more traditional environments.
Artists have been painting animals for millennia; evidence of this can be found in the discoveries of the very first cave paintings! Our continued relationship with animals is important and keeps us connected with nature.
Showcasing this connection with nature in our homes and businesses is essential for recognition, inner peace and balance, especially in our fast-paced modern lives.
