Carols for Commuters
Wednesday, 13 December 2017
The Christmas tree at the station had been put up and decorated with help from the nursery located in the station buildings and then there was a gathering on a very cold night to sing "Carols for Commuters".
Hebden Royd Town Mayor and her consort came and sang along and The Friends of Hebden Bridge Station raised £127.83 for The Railway Children Charity. The charity helps street children at risk especially those who are found near railways in the UK, India and East Africa.
