Win tickets for Yak at the Trades Club – Hotly tipped powerpop trio Yak play Hebden Bridge Trades Club on Tuesday 10 October and the Hebweb has two pairs of tickets to give away.
Singer-guitarist Oliver Henry Burslem, bassist Andy Jones and drummer Elliot Rawson formed Yak in 2014. They released their debut single Hungry Heart in 2015 swiftly followed up by Plastic People which brought them to national attention as a band to watch.
Their first album Alas Salvation came out last year - produced by former Pulp bassist Steve Mackey - winning them positive reviews in Q Magazine, The Guardian, DIY Magazine and The 405.
Yak are a relentless touring act securing support slots with Peace, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, The Last Shadow Puppets plus their own high octane shows at SXSW and Glastonbury.
To win a pair of tickets all you have to do is email the name of the band’s own label they released their debut album on by 12 noon on Monday 9 October. Winners will be contacted by the Trades Club.
