Artsmill Exhibition: Elements of Earth - Sculptural Ceramics

Artsmill are delighted to welcome 9 ceramic artists from the North of England.
The exhibition spans the boundaries of the medium, crossing aspects of art, design and craft. They have been specially chosen because of the sculptural, inventive, aesthetic characteristics in their work. This makes for an exciting mixture, from the traditional to the experimental, including wall pieces and vessels, plant inspired pieces and architectural drawings on clay to intriguing sculptural figures.
They will display drawings / designs by the artists showing how these conclude into three dimensional pieces. Talks by two of the ceramicists about their work and processes will take place in the gallery. This is a unique opportunity to see a wide range of sculptural ceramics from the North of England.
