Flood Fundraising Writing Competition
Thursday, 25 February 2016
The Watermarks Writing Competition has been organised by Bluemoose Books, Helen Meller of Hebden Bridge Arts Festival and Anna Turner.
It is an open competition with four categories, Poetry, Short Stories, Non-fiction and Under 18s.
It is free to enter. The winners will be published in an anthology which will be sold for flood relief.
The closing date is 10 April 2016, and we are hoping to get the anthology out in time to sell at HBAF.
The judges giving their time for free, as are the organisers. Lamberts have printed flyers free of charge and we have been offered free typesetting. We are looking into raising funds for printing costs.
