Calder Valley Voices' Charity Christmas Concert
Wednesday, 2 December 2015
Calder Valley Voices, the community choir based in the upper valley, has arranged a seasonal concert of new songs collected from around the World.
Everyone is welcome at the charity concert in Hebden Bridge on the evening of Thursday 10th December. Director Carol Donaldson will lead the Choir in songs to celebrate and rouse. After an interval, there will be more seasonal songs and carols with an invitation to the audience to sing along.
The concert is open to the public and will be held at the Methodist Hall on Market Street (next to the Co-op supermarket) in Hebden Bridge.
Tickets will be sold on the door at 7.30pm for an 8.00 start, with refreshments available at the interval. All the proceeds will go to St Augustine's Centre in Halifax, which welcomes and supports vulnerable people, particularly refugees and asylum-seekers arriving in Calderdale.
