Calderdale Green Party celebrates growth in Hebden Bridge

The Calderdale Green Party are celebrating the growth of their membership, which has increased five times within one year.
In January alone over 100 people have joined as members.
On hursday 26th February, members and non-members alike are invited to celebrate the Green Surge and the successful crowd funding for the Green Party's Calder Valley and Halifax Constituency candidates.
In 2014, the Green Party came 2nd in the Calder Ward (covering Hebden Bridge) in the Calderdale Council elections with 817 votes and had nearly 200 more than the Liberal candidate and 222 more than the Conservative.
The evening will begin at 7pm with a shared meal.
