Warming up for cricket

Hebden Bridge Cricket Club is starting the long thaw towards the new season with a 6 week series of indoor nets beginning on Sunday 1st February.

It's been a busy winter with the club appointing a new captain, Richard Tranmer, and vice-captain, Mudassir Hussain.

Work at the Salem ground has continued to improve the playing surface and the facilities for players and spectators and the club is looking forward to a full season of friendly matches.

New players are always welcome. Come along to the nets at Todmorden Sports Centre every Sunday from 1st Feb between 3 and 4 or ring Mike on 07801 352983 if you're interested.
