The Circus comes to Market Street

Hebden Bridge's small knitting, sewing and haberdashery shop, Ribbon Circus will be moving from its premises on Albert Street to a new, bigger and more fabulous shop on Market Street in the heart of the town.

The shop owners Helen Baron and Caroline Burton have been planning the move for nearly 9 months but finally have to go-ahead to move. "We will be open on Albert Street on Saturday the 1st of November and will miraculously reopen 4 days later at 18 Market Street" says Helen who has managed Ribbon Circus since 2011. "The shop opened in 2008 and has gone from strength to strength since then, knitting and sewing has become hugely popular in the last year or so and we needed bigger premises to cram in more craft goodies. The old art shop on Market Street is just ideal".

Caroline and Helen are dedicated knitters and stitchers and will be running knitting and crochet workshops and groups from the new premises as well as a wider range of knitting wools, dressmaking fabrics and haberdashery.
