Morning Star Benefit at the Trades

A social and benefit concert at the Trades Club on Sunday afternoon, January 5, raised £800 for the Fighting Fund for the Morning Star newspaper.

Performers giving their services included Will Kaufman, Peadar Long, and Steve Tilston, plus Calderdale Trades Council secretary Tracey Howton, and her son Stan in his first public performance. Brilliant!

The next benefit at the Trades is on Saturday, January 11, for renowned and respected musician Maggie Boyle, who is unwell. See you there!
