Hebden Bridge Community Association seeks nominations for Trustees
Hebden Bridge Community Association (HBCA) is a charitable organisation and development trust responsible for ongoing regeneration in Hebden Bridge. It was the Community Association which led to the recent re-development at the Town Hall and which continues to manage the building.
New trustees are being sought as currents ones retire.
As the time for the AGM of the Hebden Bridge Community Association draws near (26th November), the board of trustees are now looking to recruit new members to the board. As the new Town Hall project is now well established, the HBCA board has looked to how other charitable trusts now use the opportunity of retiring trustees and vacancies to recruit with a more skills based approach for the future.
Vice Chair Rachel Rickards for the HBCA said "We are currently looking for new trustees to help sustain and grow the community association both with its existing project and looking to new initiatives.
"We are looking for a range of interested strategic thinking people, including those who want to be involved locally and those with experience of being a trustee. Being a trustee of a charity is a serious responsibility but can be very rewarding too".
If you think you have the skills and or attributes to make a good trustee, have a look at the roles and responsibilities posted here.
Applications/nominations are requested to arrive by 12 noon, 4th November.
