Calder Valley Voices invites newcomers

Calder Valley Voices invites all newcomers to come along for a free taster evening singing with them.

They start our new term at 7.15 (until 9.30pm) on Thursday 5th September in the Methodist Church Hall, Bridge Lanes, Hebden Bridge (opposite the Co-op).

They're a very sociable group of men and women as you can see from the photo above, taken as they rehearsed for their June concert this year. Why not begin something new, for enjoyment, even if you were told in school that you weren't a singer!

They don't audition and believe everyone can sing. Listen to the wonderful sounds they make by singing as a community, all kinds of songs from across time and continents. With a break for a cuppa and a chat part-way through, you'll wonder how you've got by without a regular fix of singing.
