Hebden Royd wants applications for its community grants
Hebden Royd Town Council wants to hear from community groups in need of grant funding for projects as they come to the final round of their funding for 2012/13.
The Council currently has £75,000 in its annual budget which it hopes will benefit as wide a range of groups as possible.
This year, members of the Community Funding Committee have been focussing on the groups and projects for children and young people, the elderly and those which help residents on low incomes or in social need.
Applications which bring economic benefit to Hebden Royd and boost its profile will also be considered.
Coun Richard Scorer, Chair of the Community Funding Committee, said: “We do not have a huge amount of money but we want to ensure that the grant budget we do have is distributed fairly and reflects the real diversity of our community and that funding is allocated right across the board from projects helping children and young people to the elderly.”
“Every application is considered carefully and if people want to find out how to go about applying to us for grants we are there to help.”
Anyone wishing to find out more about how to apply for grant funding from Hebden Royd Town Council should should visit the website, contact Town Clerk Jason Boom on 01422 842181 or e-mail Jason@hebdenroyd.org.uk. The deadline for the next round of applications is 28th February 2013.
