Hebden Bridge Folk Festival kicked off with a greatest hits set from the legendary Fairport Convention at the Trades Club, but the main event is this weekend.

Their biggest bill yet kicks off with the Albion Band and the Steve Tilston Trio at the Trades on Friday at 8pm.

The festival is also using the Town Hall's Waterfront Hall for a set from rising folk star Martha Tilston on Saturday at 6pm and then at 8pm it's the Hebden debut of the hotly tipped Ahab at the Trades.
