Hebden Bridge's Chris Green of the White Ribbon Campaign in Mytholmroyd is one of those selected to run with the Olympic torch through Halifax.

He am representing the 5,000 who have pledged to support the White Ribbon work and all of those who volunteer for their campaign of men and boys to speaking out about male violence against women. This violence is part of the inequality which condemns men and women to live in a society in which 1 in 4 women will suffer from violence inflicted by men in their lifetime. It is men's responsibility to talk to other men and change this culture.

Over the summer White Ribbon Campaign will be attending festivals, carnivals and continuing its education and sports campaigns.
