Lives Remembered - Louise Brough

Lovely Louise Brough - 40 years back we were so close, sharing stoned Windsor Road dreams & your wild dancing parties. Why did I never get round to sharing your Majikal India trips as planned?

Only 3 weeks back, sat together in Trades, you told me you had cancerup-front, brave & resplendently beautiful as everAlways told you to stop tanning but could not imagine you gone...but then it seems back in hospital, moved to Leeds. Suddenly today you have passed without me ever getting there... but you will stay in my heart forever with love & best blessings XXX

I was lucky enough to meet Louise relatively recently, and lived with her for a year before moving next door to her for the last 18 months ... she was genuinely one of the very best people I have ever met!

She helped me out at a time when I really needed it, offering me lodging in her home even though she had only just met me 30 minutes before. I realise now that this was probably just normal for Louise - she had a heart of pure gold and would have done anything for the people and animals she loved (that's pretty much ALL the animals haha).

Since she has passed, some fresh buds have appeared on her favourite house-plant - the orchid she always kept on her kitchen windowsill. Make of this what you will, but I know what I think.

To Louise - All the love in the world, and see you on the next go round ... Simon xxx
