Where's Josh?

From Neil M

Sunday 6 October 2024

Does anyone know the best way to contact our MP, Josh Fenton-Glynn? He hasn't replied to an email or a follow-up, and no phone number or local address seems to be available. Are we supposed to write to him at the House of Commons, given the expense of postage stamps, and what are the chances of a reply if we do this?

His website doesn't appear to have been updated since the election, although it states:

"Being a full time MP for the whole constituency: I want to be an MP you are proud of and will devote myself to improving all our communities. I would have a visible high street office and a presence throughout Calder Valley."

Three months since the election, where are this office and presence?

I've had much the same experience.  I wrote to him on 27 February regarding cutbacks in foreign aid and have had not a thing bar an auto-reply.

I used to think that Josh was a decent guy who would struggle in the parliamentary party in its current form, but would do his best for his constituents.  Sadly I don't think any of those three things is true.

I can't believe it was only a few years ago that I campaigned for him.
