Radon

Has anyone living in Hebden Bridge ever had their home tested for radon and had radon remediation measures retro-fitted, such as having a radon sump installed beneath the floor of their basement?
As the under-dwellings/basements on the conservation side of the town are solid floors, anyone had any issues with having radon sumps installed?
The town sits on a UK radon risk level of 3-5% of homes being above acceptable safety levels of radon (potentially), which is why I'm wondering if anyone's tested and/or had sumps fitted?
Do we know if the new build apartments above the Melbourne Street area have had sumps installed?
Thanks,
John R
