I was shocked today Monday morning by the gridlock on Keighley Road and LeeMill Road.  Yorkshire Water started digging Keighley Road for a few hours Bank Holiday Friday, causing severe delays.

They left by early afternoon, leaving their traffic lights in place. An intelligent police officer turned them around Sunday, releasing the gridlock. 11 days after they began, they started digging again.

How hard is it to know that if you don't leave space for a cement mixer to pass you will cause lots of suffering for travellers when one, followed by other big lorries, inevitably appears?
