Factory accident 1900

I wondered if any body had any more information about an an factory accident in which my great grandfather was killed. This occurred on June 12th 1900, his name was John Hankin Shaw, and I believe he was the factory owner.
I have various newspaper cuttings with information about the funeral but no information about the actual incident that killed him.
My father was Harry Shaw son of Francis William Shaw who was John Hankin Shaw's eldest son.
I have always been curious about what happened so wondered if anybody has any information.

Shaw, John Hankin
[1845-1900] Managing Director of F. & H. Shaw Limited.
In 1873, he married Isabella Chambers [1849-1931] in Liverpool.
Children:
Frances William [b 1893]
Jesse James [b 1896]
John Henry (Harry)
Annie
Isabelle
The family lived at 20 Windsor Road, Hebden Bridge [1900].
He was killed by a collapsing crane [12th June 1900].
He was buried at Cross Lanes United Methodist Chapel, Hebden Bridge
