I worked at Acre Mill as an apprentice draughtsman from November 1958 until leaving to go to Bradford Uni in February 1962, then back again to install new machinery (as a newly qualified mechanical engineer) from June 1966 until the November before moving on to another company, Kismet Ltd, within the group that made garage equipment.
