My neighbour has found a framed cartoon strip in her attic. Signed by the artist it says Peter Miller, but he may also be Pete Rigg who co-wrote a strip cartoon called The Mob. On the back is the logo of Calder Valley Press which I gather was a free 'alternative newspaper' for Hebden Bridge circulating in the late 70s/early 80s and carried The Mob once a week.

Does anyone know any more about this little bit of local history?  For once Google isn't much help at all.  I think my neighbour would like to find it a home where it might have some meaningful connection and memories....
