Buskers in the Square
From John Nesbitt

Anyone know the latest on the guy who rocks up in the square for six hours at a time twice a week and proceeds to mangle Neil Young's back catalogue? I think the council served a nuisance order on him last year, and he stopped for a while, but his nails-on-blackboard voice seems once again to be the sou ndtrack of pretty much any sunny day in Hebden.

I rang the council this morning when I saw him breeze in to make himself comfortable and they say that Hebden Bridge is under review about all busking. It's a shame for the ones that respectfully move on after an hour or two. Most are not so in your face as he.
He might, just might have screwed it up for them all.

We've had 'Heart Of Gold', 'Johnny B Goode', 'Ace Of Spades' and that old buskers's cliche, 'Streets Of London'. I'm getting out of town before he tackles the sodding 'House Of The Rising Sun'.

Stephen - I really appreciate the work that you have put in to try and resolve things last year and this. He's back again today and I have called EVH to make a report.
