Having walked around the park again last night there are still three streetlights that have not been fixed. Could you please contact the council to come and have another look as they seem to have missed them.

Well they were working last night, but tonight many of them were out again. I wonder if some 'juvenile' behaviour is happening. In the old health centre car park it was found that if you shake the lamps hard enough it blows the bulbs.

There are now five streetlights not working on the park. I have tried to log this through the calderdale website but the council don't seem to think there are any lights on the park according to the selection map...

Councillor, can you please try to get this sorted. I understand that there may be a problem with kids breaking the lights as mentioned by another comment on the feed, but if that's the case then surely the lights need to be changed to something more suitable rather than leaving the park in darkness.

Hi Ian,
Please either email Calderdale Council direct at or email me - I know the contractors are unfortunately about 2 or 3 weeks behind with repairing Street Lights at present due to the putting up of the Christmas Lights across Calderdale.
