It's a wonderful cinema

It seems that the Xmas showing of It's A Wonderful Life is now a firmly established Hebden tradition.
So much so that by 2.45pm a long queue had already formed on Xmas eve outside our cinema.
I think everyone who went along feels our community has much in common with Bedford Falls and there can't have been a dry eye in a full house.
My thanks as ever to the staff who handled the crowds brilliantly.
The only downside was every time Mr Potter appeared all I could think of was how much he reminded me of Iain Duncan Smith . . . although Potter seems to have a bit more compassion than IDS.

Just to say I fully concur with Paul - particularly so having just been to the new Halifax one for the first time and coming away feeling as if I'd been mugged!
