Over the years I have been involved in various debates on this forum concerning Himalayan Balsam. I've purposefuly kept quiet this year as I knew that a scientific study was being conducted on the wider effects on ecosystems that have been colonised by the plant, and now, the results are in. Himalayan Balsam may be good for bees, but with these results, we can finally say with certianty that it seriously damages ecosystems as a whole.
