I read the news story concerning superfast broadband with interest, but it left me wondering what exactly is going to be delivered.

Here in Mytholmroyd we've had FTTC for more than a year (I've got it, and it really is fast), and BT are scheduled to announce it in Hebden this month (according to a man in an openreach van I spoke to last week).

What is this newly announced scheme going to deliver beyond what we already have? Or is this scheme being targeted at other areas of Calderdale beyond Mytholmroyd and Hebden Bridge?
