Mytholmroyd Train Services

On Friday 5th April the 8.04am train from Mytholmroyd to Bradford was cancelled - again! Reason given - member of train crew not available. This morning, Monday 8th April the train was cancelled - again! Reason given - member of train crew not available. This is by no means a rare occurence - quite often this train is either cancelled or running late + 2 carriages only + old dirty train.
We only have 1 train an hour as it is and in this peak period people are trying to get to work, or doesn't this matter to Northern Fail.
When cancelled the choice is to stay on the Mytholmroyd platform and just hope that a stopping order is put on the next train (which it sometimes is) but then it is packed and you can't get on it anyway. This also is usually running late as it has stopped at the other stations the cancelled one should have stopped at. The other choice is to try to make it to Hebden Bridge - which is a pain anyway. Perhaps we should just all go home and not bother trying to get to work - is this what Northern Fail is trying to encourage?
