Writing this on the evening of 2nd January I was surprised to see a lot of broken glass still scattered around outside one of the pubs in town. It is not only unsightly but also presents a threat to local dogs who are being taken for a walk in the town centre. After a night of heavy takings don't the owners of local businesses have some responsibility towards their environment?
