Mytholmroyd Station Car-park
From David Woodhead

Northern Rail have appointed The Haste Partnership, to ask "current users" of the station at `Royd about the need to extend the car-park. Since not many people use the car-park, because it is tiny and inaccessable, Northern Rail will inevitably decide that it is not worth extending . . . because not many people are using it. Please write to richardhaste@aol.com if you would like the car-park extended into the un-used loading yard at the north-eastern end of the station. By having a useable car-park at Mytholmroyd Station, it will decrease the congestion on Mayroyd, bring `Royd Station back to life and hopefully, a lot more business to the village.

There were plenty of cars parked there the other day when I wanted to get in. Most of the way up was in use, in fact. Since it was resurfaced, and feels like a car park rather than a cross-country trek, it has been pretty well-used.
